This is an integral part of a project, where detailed drawings and specifications are developed and includes coordinating and updating designs and specifications. What it involves:

A Bill of Quantities is prepared by the quantity surveyor, itemising quantities of materials and labour costs for the contractor to accurately cost the work. It gives the client a detailed budget and provides cost control measures throughout the project.
